Terms and Conditions
Agreement to Terms: By scheduling a cleaning service with Stella Cleaning Services LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not schedule a cleaning service.
1. Cancellation Policy:
- Same-Day Cancellation Fee: If the Customer cancels the scheduled cleaning service on the day of the appointment, a fee of $50 will be charged to compensate for the lost opportunity and operational costs incurred.
2. Rescheduling Policy:
- Same-Day Rescheduling Fee: If the Customer wishes to reschedule the cleaning service on the day of the appointment, a rescheduling fee of $15 will be applied. This fee covers the administrative costs and potential lost opportunities caused by the last-minute change.
3. Additional Work Fee:
- If upon arrival, it is determined that the scope of work exceeds the initial estimate due to the condition of the premises or additional areas needing cleaning, Stella Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to adjust the service charges accordingly. The Customer will be notified of any additional fees before the commencement of work, requiring verbal or written consent to proceed.
4. Payment Terms:
- Payment for cleaning services is due upon completion of the work. For services exceeding $1000, a deposit of 25% of the estimated service cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon service completion.
5. Late Payment Fees:
- Payments not received within 15 days of service completion will incur a late fee of $15 or 3%, whichever is higher, per month on the outstanding amount.
6. Liability:
- Stella Cleaning Services LLC is not liable for damage to items not reported within 24 hours of service completion. The Customer agrees to secure or remove any valuables or delicate items prior to the cleaning service.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee:
- If you are not satisfied with the cleaning service, please report your concerns within 24 hours. Stella Cleaning Services has the option to re-clean the specific area(s) at no extra charge.
8. Right to Refuse Service:
- Stella Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a contract if the condition of the property is hazardous to the health and well-being of our staff or if the Customer behaves inappropriately or threateningly towards our staff.
9. Governing Law:
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Virginia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Virginia.
